There’s a new way to detox that I’ve been hearing about called: teatox. Tea is one of the world’s most popular beverages and teas have so many health benefits. Different teas are good for different ailments, like providing energy, easing nausea and cramps, hydrating your skin, aiding in weight loss and of course detoxing the body.
Skinny Teatox is a company I’ve been hearing a lot about, so I thought I would look more into it.
Skinny Teatox is a company based in Canada that promotes a 100% natural detox tea program to help you kickstart your metabolism so you can lose weight. There are no chemicals or preservatives in their tea and their natural ingredients include: tea leaves, senna leaf, ginseng, chrysanthemum, cinnamon bark, cloves, rhubarb, ginger and more.
Skinny Teatox is a two-step program that you can get in 7-day, 14-day, or 28-day kits. You drink a morning tea which will provide you with energy all day to boost your metabolism and an evening tea which will help you detoxify your body by flushing toxins out of your digestive tract. The detox tea does contain a natural laxative (Senna Leaf) so you might find yourself visiting the bathroom a little more frequently but not enough that you need to be close by the bathroom. The evening tea you only consumer every other day.
You will need a loose leaf tea filter for the loose leaf tea, if you don’t have one. I use one like this:

Skinny Teatox also has a Fat Free Chocolate Energy Tea which sounds so yummy and is definitely a tea I would love to try! I drink Guayaki Yerba Mate daily so when I saw this tea has Yerba Mate in it I was super excited!

I don’t know about you, but anything with chocolate that helps me increase my energy and aid in weight loss is a win-win in my book!
