Hanger Prevention: Caveman Foods Review

Hello my friends! I hope your summer is going great! We have been to upstate New York and Bethany Beach in the past month and anytime I travel I always have to take snacks with me because otherwise I get hangry! Anyone else get hangry?!

My husband laughs at me every time I reach back for the cooler in the back seat…like “What are you eating now?” LOL

When we went to Yew York to help friends move I had no idea what time’s we would be eating so I knew that I would need some food on hand that I could just grab and go. We were also doing wine and beer tasting 😉 so having something I could put in my purse while we were touring wineries was a must!

I was super excited when Caveman Foods sent me a box of 24 assorted nutrition bars to sample. I don’t always have time to make my own nutrition bars but still want a healthy packaged nutrition bar option.

“Caveman Nutrition Bars are made with health and lifestyle in mind. They are peanut-free, soy-free, certified gluten-free, and Non-GMO. They are vegan friendly, contain dark chocolate covered fruit, seeds, almonds and cashews.”

I received Dark Chocolate Almond Coconut, Dark Chocolate Caramel Cashew, Dark Chocolate Cashew Almond, & Dark Chocolate Cherry Nut.

The Dark Chocolate Cashew Almond was my favorite and my husband loved the Dark Chocolate Caramel Cashew bar.

Although, I’m not Paleo, I do love most Paleo products because they tend to have healthier ingredients like these bars.

Since these bars have chocolate in them I did keep them in our cooler for the road trip to New York and to eat while sitting on the beach so they wouldn’t melt.

These bars are the perfect snack size to take with you to the gym, in between clients, on the beach or to work.

These bars aren’t expensive either. You can get a pack of 12 for $19.99 (which is about $1.66 a bar which is about average pricing for nutrition bars). They also have a VIP Subscription program and then you could get the same pack of 12 for $15.99 which is a great deal! I will definitely be ordering more of these especially since my husband likes them too!

Which flavor would you be most excited to try?

Stay Healthy and Hanger-Free my Friends!

XO,

Carrie A Groff

  1. OMG what a split you did there 😀 It’s amazing. These snacks sounds really good. I always keep some power snack in my bag… Chocolate Cherry is my favorite combo 😉
