Liver is the new Multi-vitamin!

Since I’ve gone to a more low-carb animal-based diet, I’ve learned that eating lots of animal products gives me most of the nutrients my body needs. The one thing missing is organ meats. If you have researched animal-based diets, keto diets, carnivore diets or heard about eating nose-to-tail then you probably know that organ meats are the most nutritious parts of the animal. The nutrients in the organs are also the most bioavailable (meaning they are easy for the body to utilize).

I don’t know about you, but I didn’t grow up eating liver, heart, spleen or even bone marrow. I personally haven’t gotten the courage to try cooking these at home…and if I’m completely honest…I may never.

Which is why I’m loving MK Supplements Beef Organs supplements like there Beef Liver supplement. Beef liver is the king of micronutrients followed by heart and spleen. MK Supplements are freeze-dried to preserve all the micronutrients. 3 grams of freeze-dried organ meat is = to 1 ounce of fresh organ meat.

I also choose MK Supplements over other organ supplement companies because they come in glass bottles (not plastic) and it’s a small family-owned business and I love supporting small businesses. I also love the Michael and his family live an animal-based lifestyle. They don’t just talk-the-talk they walk-the walk. You can read much more information about the health benefits of eating organ meats on his blog here.

And if you just want to try their supplements you can shop here and use my code: CARRIEFIT for 15 % off your first order or 25% off your first subscription then 10% each recurring order thereafter.

They just came out with a blend that includes all the organs which I will be replacing my Beef Liver supplement to the Beef Organs blend as soon as I finish my Liver bottles. It think all the organs have a variety of micro and macro nutrients our bodies need so gettin gall them in one supplement is amazing!

Tell me below…have you tried eating organ meats? Or do you prefer supplements?

Stay healthy my friends!

XO,

Carrie A Groff
