“There is nothing better than a friend, unless it is a friend with chocolate.”

And coffee…a friend with coffee and chocolate! Happy my Friday my friends! Today’s post is sponsored by chocolate and coffee! I have never been a big fan of Mocha’s until I started making them myself. Maybe it’s because the ones you buy at local coffee stores or big chains are loaded with a whole bunch of unnecessary junk.

My local grocery store just recently started carrying Chameleon Cold-Brew Coffee Concentrate. I love cold-brew coffee so I had to try it. I bought the Vanilla one which mixes perfectly with my unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
This recipe is a spin-off of my homemade chocolate milk recipe.
Ingredients:
- 4 oz Chameleon Cold Brew Coffee
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or any other dairy free beverage)
- 1 TBSP non-alkaline cocoa powder (my fav is raw Cacao Powder)
- 1/2 TBSP coconut oil (optional, but adds a healthy fat to it and makes it really creamy)
- 1-2 Medjool Dates
Directions:
Pour the almond milk and coffee in a small pot.
Slowly heat the almond milk and coffee with your cocoa powder (if you added coconut oil, you add that here).
Let it warm up slowly, so it all mixes well.
You can see it’s shiny since the coconut oil is all melted. So yummy!
Next, pour the heated mixture in your Vitamix or other high powered blender you have.
Next, add in your Medjool Dates (or if you don’t have dates you could use raw honey). I love Medjool Dates because they are an all-natural and healthy sweetener (sugar alternative) that’s not processed and is loaded with fiber. I buy whole Medjool Dates that still have the pits in them. Just separate it in half and pull the pit out.
Blend everything together until the dates are well broken down. Then pour and enjoy!
This drink can be made cold as well…another yummy treat, especially when it’s warm out.
Stay Healthy my Friends!
