This has been a crazy busy week my healthy friends, so today’s post is a short and simple healthy smoothie recipe that’s got protein, fruit and even greens in it so it’s a great smoothie to have for breakfast or lunch! It also has electrolytes from the coconut water so it’s ideal to have before or after a workout too.
- 1 cup coconut water (make sure you buy one that doesn’t have any added sugars)
- 2 cups frozen mango
- 3 cups organic baby spinach
- 1/2 juice of a lime
- 1 TBSP Goji Berries (my favorite brand is Navita’s Naturals)
- 1 scoop Vegan Protein (I use Everlast VP – use my code: HEALTHYFITANDBAREFOOT for an insiders discount)
Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender (I love my Vitamix), serve and enjoy!! It’s getting to be that time of year where I love eating smoothies daily so I will be sharing more yummy smoothie recipes to keep it interesting!
