It’s getting to be that time of year when every one around you is getting sick. Here is a quick tip to help your body protect itself from the cold virus:
This recipe is for a chest cream that’s soothing, fortifying, and helpful for preventing a cold. It’s especially nice at bedtime.
- 1 oz (30 ml) unscented cream, shea butter, fractionated coconut oil or jojoba oil
- 6 drops Cedarwood
- 4 drops Frankincense or Myrhh
- 2 drop Lemon
There are lots of other ways for preventing colds as well (like my cold busting diffusing blend I shared recently), using oregano oil and coconut oil on the bottoms of your feet before bed or as a natural hand sanitizer.
I hope this new tip helps you learn one more useful way you can start incorporating essential oils into your daily life!
Stay Healthy my Friends!

It’s a fabulous oil to have on hand Liz 🙂 It’s a good one for regulating menstruation and hormones too for us ladies. I also love to use it to help me sleep at night.
