Flavorful Friday: Organic & Raw Kombucha

Have you tried Kombucha yet?? I’m addicted to this stuff!

Kombucha is a fizzy, fermented drink made from tea and is really refreshing and super good for you! It’s usually made from black sweetened tea, that is fermented with bacteria and yeast culture. Yes, that sounds gross, but it’s full of probiotics which make your gut happy!

You can make Kombucha at home, but I haven’t tried that yet. I buy mine at my local grocery store. GT’s Kombucha is my favorite, with Live Soda a close runner up. I love GT’s because it only has 2 grams of sugar while Live Soda has 9 grams. I like to drink Live Soda Root Beer Kombucha when I’m craving a root beer soda. I haven’t had soda in many years, but every now and then I just want that good ole’ root beer taste and Live Soda kicks that craving in the butt! I just bought Live Soda Dreamy Orange which I’m really excited to try because I’ve heard it tastes like orange cream soda! Can you say, Kombucha Orange Cream Soda Float with coconut milk ice cream?! Yes, please!

GT’s Multi-Green Kombucha is my all time favorite. It’s got a strong flavor but you get used to it and any chance I can drink my greens, I’m going to! The Trilogy is really refreshing too. Kind of hard to explain the flavor…you just got to try it and see for yourself what all the rage is about 🙂
