I’ve always been motivated to work out from home. I’ve never been to a gym and probably never will unless there is a class that I would like to try. I love getting up at 5 am, putting my exercise clothes on, walking into my living room and working out. It’s a great way to start my day!
I first started working out when I was a teenager and my aunt purchased the Tae-Bo set. Ever since I’ve always loved kickboxing videos. They really get my heart-rate up and make me feel strong and powerful!
Over the years, I’ve purchases numerous fitness videos and DVD’s, like Jillian Michaels 90 Day Body Revolution and Tap-Out XT.
With all this amazing new technology we have, I have found numerous free online workout videos and trainers. I know that many of you will make exercise and weight-loss resolutions for 2015 and not all of us have the extra funds to join a gym or pay for new fitness programs.
That’s why I’ve put together this list of my favorite YouTube fitness channels that offer free full-length workout videos:
Jessica Smith TV – Jessica Smith is a personal trainer that I’ve been following for quite a while and I love her fitness workouts first and foremost because each month she offers a workout plan to follow. She also offers different fitness challenges. When working out from home, it can be easy to start doing the same videos over and over again or doing too many different videos, so I love having a calendar of workouts to follow along to that keep my body guessing as to what’s coming next, confusing my muscles, and keep me interested in my workouts. Jessica has a wide variety of workout styles to choose from like Yoga & Pilates, walking workouts, low-impact workouts and HIIT cardio workouts. She also has amazing stretching and relaxing videos. I definitely recommend signing up for her emails so you can stay informed with her new fitness plans and monthly challenges.
BEFIT – Is another YouTube channel I follow. They have great 30 day workout plans that you can download free calendar’s so you know which workouts to do which days. They have ones that focus just on a specific body part IE; the Butt! They also have Total Body Playlists to follow.
PopSugar Fitness – This is another one of my favorite channels. They have tons of free workout videos to do, and you can pick them by the length of time like 5 minute workouts, 10 minute workouts, 30 minute workouts, etc. They also have other kinds of free videos like healthy recipes. PopSugar Fitness also likes to share new fitness trend videos which is nice if you were curious about a program like Tabata and weren’t sure what it was.
Fitness Blender – This is a great channel if you like to play your own music while you are working out. This is a husband and wife team that does all their own videos. They do offer a few free fitness plans like a 5 day workout challenge that you can do if you like to follow a schedule. They have all types of workouts ranging from Yoga & Pilates to Kickboxing and HIIT workouts.
XHIT Daily – This is another channel that has a great selection of free workout videos to choose from. Most of these workouts are 20 minutes or less.
Tone It Up – This is a very popular channel for free workout videos. Katrina and Karena are super cute fitness trainers, but they really know how to work you in their workout videos! Most of the time the scenery is on the beach which is nice if you love the beach. They have a nutrition plan that they promote, but also offer great free nutrition tips and recipes.
ZuzkaLight – Zuzka is super fit and one of my inspirations. I love her workouts because they are tough! She has great AMRAP workouts which are fun because you can see how many reps you can do in a certain time period and try and go along with her or beat her reps! She has a thick accent but you can still understand her when she is telling you what to do in your videos. She also does healthy recipes and giveaways as well.
SarahBethYoga – Last, but not least is this awesome Yoga channel that I recently discovered. I love this channel because there are short videos that will help you stretch out neck and back tension, hip opening videos, and some of my favorite videos are the relaxing bed-time videos. Choose from Power, Vinysa, Hatha & Restorative videos.
I have a ton more channels I could share with you, but these are my top channels that I always go to. I hope these free fitness channels will help you towards your exercise and weight-loss goals in 2015!
