It’s that time of year when kids are back in school, people are planning their holiday gatherings, some people even start Christmas shopping already and you see pumpkin this and pumpkin that all over Pinterest.
Usually, this time of year I’m busy with my health & wellness business, reaching out to people that were too busy over the summer to meet with, and this year I am just as busy, but now I’ve added in lots of studying!
Most of you know that I love fitness and exercising so I decided to become a personal trainer?! I’m super excited, yet nervous too. I just started studying and it’s a lot of “stuff” that I had no idea related to fitness. Sometimes I’m too quick to doubt myself, but everyone keeps telling me that I will be a fabulous personal trainer, which totally gives me hope.
The other night my husband at a fortune cookie (gross by the way…did you ever read those ingredients? My husband doesn’t read ingredients…that’s a whole ‘nother story though lol) anyway…the fortune inside really made me smile when he handed it to me:
I first started working out in high school when my aunt gave me a set of Tae Bo tapes and I loved doing Tae Bo. It was fast-paced and kicked butt! I still love doing kickboxing workouts, but also love really challenging myself with HIIT, Tabata, & weight lifting. And of course I do yoga every day! I do all my workouts at home and I’m looking forward to helping others learn how to workout from home. It’s motivating for me to get up in the morning and go into my living room and get my sweat on! If I had to drive to a gym to workout I wouldn’t be as motivated.
Speaking of working out from home….I recently did a giveaway for one of my lucky readers to win a 3-Month Premium Grokker Membership and the winner is….
Michael Ryan
Congratulations!!
Now, it’s time for me to get back to studying!

Thank you for hosting the contest!
Good luck on the personal trainer career. I’ve heard it can be pretty intense learning, but worth it long term with how you can help other people.
